If English is not your native language you might have encountered some words that you did not know how to pronounce correctly. How would you pronounce zealously or eligibility for instance if you never heard the words before ? Even in the English language family words are pronounced differently depending on the region of the speaker. A Scott pronounces word different than someone from San Francisco.
If you want to get a impression how a speaker from the United States would pronounce a word you should visit the How J Say website. The site has a list of over 50000 English words and phrases that have been recorded and can be listened to right on the website. You can either type in a word that you want pronounced or browse the complete list of words and phrases available.
To hear the word just move your mouse over it and you will hear someone pronounce it for you. This is really helpful for non-native speakers. You have to raise the volume a little bit because some of the words are hard to hear. Could be my setup or the fact that you can’t record more than 50000 words with the same voice level.

2.May I try this on?(我能试试这件吗？)如果想知道自己看中的衣服能不能试穿，可以问营业员“May I try this on?”当然，在美国，大部份衣服都是可以试穿的,倒是可以问营业员“Where is the fitting room?”(试衣间在哪里？)有时进试衣间前，有人会在门口问你“How many?”这时你只要告诉她你拿了几件衣服就可以了。比如拿了两件，你回答：“Two”就可以了。这时候，她会给你一块上面写着2的牌子，进去之前，你只要把这个牌子挂在门上。
